With its 1,000 members, Cosmed had for several years lamented the lack of influence and representation of micro-businesses, SMEs and mid-cap companies in the French cosmetics industry, even though these categories of companies are in the majority in terms of numbers.<\/p>\n<p>This recognition by the High Council for Social Dialogue (HCDS) on the proposal of the Ministry of Labour gives Cosmed an active and legitimate role in social negotiations and, more generally, on all issues affecting business development.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>It will enable:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the specific voice of micro-enterprises, SMEs and mid-cap companies in the cosmetics sector to be better heard by public authorities;<\/li>\n<li>direct participation in collective agreement negotiations (remuneration, working conditions, training, classifications, etc.);<\/li>\n<li>contribution to the development of social and labour law texts in companies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:list-item --><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:list --><\/p>\n\n            <\/div>\n\n            <div class=\"col-12 col-lg-6 image-container mt-3 mt-lg-0 \">\n                                <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cosmed.fr\/app\/uploads\/2025\/11\/representativite-image.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"img-fluid w-100\">\n            <\/div>\n\n        <\/div>\n\n    <\/div>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n<p>From now on, the only two representative bodies in the cosmetics industry in France are Febea and Cosmed. Cosmed has the largest number of member companies and is therefore the leading employers&#8217; organisation in the industry. Under the current rules, the calculation of \u2018weight\u2019 is based solely on the number of employees.
