Development Scientist (Formulation) \u2013 Healthcare Solutions (m\/f\/d)"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"container\">As a Technical Service &amp; Development Scientist (Formulation) within Healthcare Solutions, you will be part of a dynamic technology organization focused on developing topical solutions for medical device applications within the Liveo\u2122 platform. \u00a0This role is both customer-facing and laboratory-based, requiring a strong balance of hands-on formulation expertise and technical engagement with customers. \u00a0You will lead the development and customization of liquid and semi-solid formulations, translating customer and market needs into robust, high-performance solutions. \u00a0Through close collaboration with commercial, R&amp;D, and manufacturing teams, you will drive application development from concept through commercialization while ensuring solutions are scalable and aligned with business objectives.<\/p>\n<p>Primary Duties &amp; Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>Lead technical customer engagements.\u00a0 Understand customer and market needs, translating them into critical performance requirements to deliver solutions based on DuPont technology, capabilities, and products.<\/p>\n<p>Develop new applications and customize products to ensure technical solutions meet customer requirements, including hands-on formulation, application testing, validation, and troubleshooting.\u00a0 Prepare technical reports and presentations.<\/p>\n<p>Monitor customer &amp; market trends\/feedback and competitive intelligence to inform product strategy<\/p>\n<p>Support technology transfer for scale-up and commercialization to ensure robust, reproducible products<\/p>\n<p>Travel: 20%-25% or less<\/p>\n<p>Education &amp; Experience<\/p>\n<p>Required:<\/p>\n<p>Degree in chemistry or related field with deep understanding of formulation\/mixing principles and ability to apply first-principles to achieve desired properties in liquid and semisolid forms<\/p>\n<p>Colloid and interface science (emulsions, suspensions)<\/p>\n<p>Polymer science (gels, film-formers)<\/p>\n<p>Rheology and viscosity control<\/p>\n<p>Compatibility and stability mechanisms<\/p>\n<p>5+ years of experience in medical device class and\/or cosmetic topical skin treatment applications<\/p>\n<p>Expertise in formulating silicone-based and organic-based systems, with strong understanding of excipient\/ingredient suppliers<\/p>\n<p>Strong customer orientation, able to translate application &amp; product information at the appropriate level for technical and non-technical customers \/ stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p>Demonstrated ability to design &amp; execute lab experiments using structured processes (DoE, etc.) and analyze experimental data to refine \/ troubleshoot formulations to achieve desired properties &#8211; translating formulation into application performance<\/p>\n<p>Innovative thinking, continuous learning, and adoption of emerging formulation technologies to develop new solutions or improved user experience<\/p>\n<p>Self-motivated person, with a bias for action, driven to achieve outstanding results and able to lead or manage multiple projects<\/p>\n<p>Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate effectively multiple functions (commercial, R&amp;D, QA, manufacturing, etc.)<\/p>\n<p>Strong writing and presentation skills in English and French<\/p>\n<p>Desired:<\/p>\n<p>Analytical expertise in techniques to interpret composition, stability, degradation<\/p>\n<p>Experience with in-vitro and in-vivo sensory evaluations<\/p>\n<p>Understanding of critical parameters for successful scale-up and transfer to manufacturing<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","class_list":["post-55488","annonce","type-annonce","status-publish","hentry","cat_annonce-cdd-offer"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.2 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>Technical Service &amp;
