STRATEGIC BUSINESS DEVELOPER

About the position (Manage – Belgium, St Malo – France, Toulouse – France)

The BIORIUS Group is looking for a Strategic Business Developer able to create business opportunities in the Medical Devices sector, increase the visibility and recognition of BIORIUS as a Medical Device expert and build solid operations.

The Strategic Business Developer reports to the CEO and works closely with the other business units and departments. When starting his/her activities, the Strategic Business Developer will have to play a dual role of business leader and of regulatory expert. The Strategic Business Developer will manage one person, a medical device expert already in place.

About the profile

The Strategic Business Developer has commercial skills and regulatory expertise. He/she regularly participates in congresses and conferences about the Medical Devices. He/she has a good network in the Medical Devices field and uses it in order to build new commercial opportunities for Biorius.

The Strategic Business Developer manages a portfolio of Medical Devices brands and ensure the proper follow-up of their projects (including timely delivery of documents produced by the Medical Device expert, administrative and commercial follow-up and enhanced communication with the clients).

The Strategic Business Developer knows and analyses the Medical Devices market, the competitors and Biorius capacities. He will establish a business plan with working guidelines and financial needs.

The Strategic Business Developer also has expert skills in regulatory affairs. He/she is responsive and always acts with the satisfactions of his/her clients in mind.

About the candidate

The successful candidate has an excellent command (written and spoken) of English. French (or another language) practiced at a professional level is definitely a plus.

The successful applicant holds an appropriate university background in life or medical sciences.

The successful applicant has a significant experience of the regulatory affairs related to medical devices and knows the new Regulation (EU) 2017/745 in detail. A few years of relevant professional experience in business development is definitely a plus.

The successful applicant has excellent communication skills and is business-minded.
