About the Position
The Regulatory Specialist works with the Regulatory Team in charge of assessing the regulatory compliance of our clients’ cosmetics products, be it to launch a new product or to extend the market coverage of an existing product.
The Regulatory Specialist will also work alongside the Sales Department and other Experts’ teams (Regulatory/claims Experts, Toxicologists, …).
Although Regulatory Specialists must be able to work independently, they should also be able to work within a team and consider the customer experience and customer satisfaction as an obsession.
The Regulatory Specialist will be responsible for:
Analysing the quality of client’s documentation, assessing the compliance of finished product and ensuring that the product meets the requirements of the Cosmetic Regulation for the intended market.
Being the primary contact person for the clients they will be responsible for.
Answering technical questions, requests or consultancy reports related to cosmetic regulations.
Our Desired Candidate
Has an excellent knowledge of cosmetic regulatory affairs (EU cosmetic regulation (EC) 1223/2009 and its requirements is a must) with a minimum of 3 years successful experience in the cosmetic industry.
A master’s degree in science is preferred. A master’s degree in another domain may be acceptable depending on the professional experience and aptitudes of the candidate.
Is highly proficient in spoken and written English with excellent written and interpersonal skills. The ability to speak and / or write French is an asset.
Must have excellent prioritization and organization skills, flexibility, and versatility to adapt to all situations while remaining accurate and thorough.
Is able to work independently and within a team..
Is able to empathize and will always look for solutions to help and support colleagues in the completion of their projects.
A client-oriented and solution-oriented mindset is a must.
